Yet they still have my dollars. Makes no sense. Was good for the price and the computer is awesome. Looks great and stays cool. Nothing to complain about. IBuyPower company is one of the best ones! I have sent multi emails that are replied to days later, with stupid answers that do not even help. Worst experience EVER with a company.
The complementary keyboard was also broken upon arrival. I tried calling multiple times, was left on hold for nearly two hours without any response. Tried calling again another day, got through after an hour only to be told to leave a voicemail. I left a message and call back number multiple times without ANY response. When calling failed, I tried emailing their tech support. A week passed, no response. Sent them another email, same thing. I understand we are in a pandemic, but they could not even be bothered to send out a courtesy email saying they received my email and would respond when they had time.
Completely unprofessional. Ended up buying new parts and paid someone to replace them. Save yourself the stress and take your money to another company. I ordered a new computer from ibuypower about two months ago and the computer itself is great with no issues to report.
However I will say that I was supposed to get a free game with the package and due to a glitch on their end I never received the code nor was it made clear what the timeline would be to receive the code.
Worst part is, when I called their customer service line and waited for 45 mins to get a hold of someone they told me that the code was expired and I would not receive any compansation for something that was out of my hands and the person tried to say it was my fault for waiting too long to get the code I wanted to leave this review for anyone thinking that their code is on the way because IT IS NOT unless you received the code the SAME day it shipped, because trust me the customer service obviously doesn't care about your problems Horrible customer service.
Ordered a replacement side panel one month ago, they shipped a replacement with no fragile stickers or glass enclosed stickers. It arrived shattered. It was a glass side panel placed in a box, no wrapping, with nothing but styrofoam popcorn. No cardboard or bubble wrap. Ordered a replacement for the replacement and it's still " processing". Good luck dealing with customer service. No follow through, customer service is a joke.
Don't walk, run from this company. There are much better choices out there. It got here faster than I expected.
The colors keep it bright and the performance is great for the price tag. I'll definitely be shopping here again! The put false videos on line. Make false claims. Offer no customer support. Lie on on line videos of what you get when purchased. Their advertising is false, the components they use are garbage, and they're built like crap. Doesn't matter what gaming PC you buy from them it will be a mistake. If you aren't tech savvy and don't know a lot about computers then that's just another nightmare entirely.
They have no customer service. Have a problem with your computer? Deal with it. It's not that they won't help it's that they can't help you. They literally know no nothing about diagnosing PC issues. I don't understand how people are still buying from this company when there is an infinite amount of information on how bad their products are. Go on YouTube and watch first hand reviews and breakdowns on the product from reliable sources. Or read through reliable forums and ask questions.
You work hard for your money people, stop wasting it and get something that's worth it. After many years of buying standardized offerings, I finally went all-in and ordered a "dream machine" from iBuyPower. I had purchased standard configured PCs in the past, so I wasn't making a huge purchase from a company with no track record. I ordered the computer the on December 1, However, It actually took until January 21, before I got the first status update of "gathering components.
I actually pinged them to make sure the order had not dropped off the radar. I received my box approximately Feb 2. Again, no big deal. Unboxing the beast was exciting. I was a bit perturbed that the MEK3 keyboard didnt work. It had to be send back and replaced. Considering they made me pay for the shipping, it probably wasnt worth the exchange. Not long after getting things running, I was playing Call of Duty Warzone and the computer just shut off in the middle of playing.
I rebooted it and it failed to boot 3 or 4 times before coming back to life. I couldnt believe Call of Duty bricked my computer. Fortunately, after a few attempts, the computer rebooted. So for the next few weeks I avoided the issue and didnt play call of duty. I honestly thought the issue was with the game. Normal daily usage of the computer was fine. Then a few weeks later I tried again with Warzone and the same result. Screen goes black and the computer shuts down.
I spent the weekend trying to figure it out and eventually determined it must be the computer. Maybe tech support could help me figure it out. Well good luck with anyone trying to get hold of tech support. If you can even get the phone system to pick up, I spent 2. When I did get hold of someone, they suggested almost right away it was probably a motherboard issue and asked me if I would be comfortable replacing it myself. How could they have diagnosed it that fast?
Let me guess - not the first time hearing about this issue. So no, I am not comfortable with that. The support tech was perfectly nice by the way, so no ill will towards him. We were unable to come up with a course of action, so I was supposedly being escalated to a supervisor. After being put on hold again for a half hour I got another first level technician who told me they were not the supervisor.
They would transfer me again. I was transferred to another number that just rang, and rang, and rang for a half hour before I gave up. Understand I was mostly on hold for a over 3 hrs, so I gave it a shot.
I suspect that "supervisor" is code for an empty room with a phone that just rings until you give up. The order was from November of , as of March 3rd, the computer itself has not come.

This is something that either there should be documentation on how to perform or at the very least the product key should be properly placed into Windows by the build technician. I can imagine someone buying a PC for their kid but not being overly tech savvy themselves and being frustrated to have a problem that they have to wait two days for customer service to be available to fix on their brand new out of the box expensive PC.
That said, while it was annoying, it was extremely minor and would not have stopped the system from performing during that time just would have been a minor annoyance so I still give five stars if only because the site won't let me give 4.
